PARK CITY, Utah — This summer, exploring Park City just got easier. Thanks to a Summit County Restaurant Tax Grant, the Summit Bike Share program is offering free e-bike rides on select Sundays, coinciding with the Park Silly Sunday Market.
The discount covers one 30-minute ride on one of more than 200 e-bikes located throughout the Snyderville Basin and Park City. To redeem the code, riders must download the app and select their pass. Then enter the code “SILLY” under promotion codes in the profile section.
The code will be in effect on the following dates: June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; July 13, 20; August 3, 31; and September 7, 14, 21.
The Summit Bike Share began in 2017 with 85 e-bikes across nine stations. As of last year, the program has expanded to 210 e-bikes at 26 stations, including Park City Hospital, Lincoln Station, and the Park City Visitors Center. Their goal is to help urban explorers skip traffic and parking hassles, especially when visiting the more busy areas of Park City.
The primary purpose of the Summit County Restaurant Tax Grant is to promote tourism as set out by the Utah State Statute and the County Council.
