Open Swim time added at Basic Rec pool

PARK CITY, Utah — The Basin Rec Fieldhouse swimming pool has made more Open Swim days and times available.

During Open Swim, all ages are invited to cool off and play in The Fieldhouse pool. Two lap lanes will continue to be available for lap swimming during this time.

• When: Now through August 31
• Day: Sundays
• Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
• Cost: All patrons must have a Fieldhouse membership or purchase a drop-in pass. Ages 13 and younger receive a special rate of $5 during Open Swim time

Participants must be age 14 or accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children ages nine and under must have a parent or guardian in the pool with them.

Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed, however they are not provided.

Please note that a waiver may be required upon entering the facility.

The adjacent outdoor hot tub is open during facility hours. 

Basin Rec also has Lap Swimming, Youth Swim Programs, Adult Swim and Fitness Class Programs, and Lifeguard Certification Courses.

Click here to see the current “Feels Like” temperature at the pool. If the fluctuating mountain weather dips below 10 degrees Fahrenheit, policy dictates that the pool will be closed.
