PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort will host its second annual Mountain Pride Day on Sunday, June 29, as part of its ongoing support for the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month. The free, family-friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Snow Park Plaza.
The celebration invites guests of all ages to enjoy a day of on-mountain recreation, live entertainment, community connection, and LGBTQ+ visibility. Activities include hiking, biking, live music, sweet treats, and a community opportunity drawing, with all proceeds benefiting Summit Pride.
In addition to the donation from the drawing, Deer Valley will contribute a percentage of weekend ticket sales to Summit Pride. The nonprofit works to sustain and amplify LGBTQ+ inclusivity in Utah’s Wasatch Back.
Other scheduled events include a free outdoor yoga class at 10:30 a.m. at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, led by Park City Yoga Collective. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats. At 1 p.m., a group Pride Ride will descend the Ripple trail from the top of Homestake Express Chairlift.
Local LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations will also be on site to share resources and engage with the community.
