PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Library is exhibiting the Idle-Free Art Show, a collection of student posters from every school in the Park City School District that promotes reduced vehicle idling and cleaner campus air.
The display, which opened April 26 and runs through May 31, features original artwork from elementary, junior high and high school students. Judges will select one winner from each school, along with first-, second- and third-place awards in both the elementary and secondary divisions.
The contest theme echoes Park City’s anti-idling ordinance and encourages drivers to “turn the key and be idle-free,” reminding the community that quick engine shut-offs can help protect growing lungs and improve local air quality.
