Navigate increased traffic and parking at Park Silly Sunday Market

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park Silly Sunday Market is returning to Park City this summer, bringing thousands of visitors to Lower Main Street each week. Last year, the market saw an average of 16,000 attendees on market days.

With the increase of visitors, Lower Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic during market hours and special event parking rates will be in effect — PCM has yet to publish its event parking rate sheet for 2025.

The best way to access public parking and avoid traffic is to take Deer Valley Drive through the roundabout to Marsac Avenue to the Top of China Bridge parking structure, according to Park City Municipal. There are also other private parking structures throughout the Main Street area with various payment structures and regulations.

On market days, Hillside Avenue will require a Resident Access Pass. Traffic mitigation will also be in place to discourage cut-throughs on Park Avenue and Hillside Avenue. More information about resident access passes can be found on the community information page

Main Street employees with parking permits are advised to use the Flagpole Lot, Gateway Lot (access via Swede Alley), or North Marsac Lot (access via Marsac Avenue) to keep China Bridge available for visitors.

For those hoping to attend the market but skip the traffic, the Ride Park City transit system can transport people to the market from Park City High School via the Red or Yellow routes and from Richardson Flat via the Silver route.

The Park Silly Sunday Market is free and open to the public and begins June 1.
