SNAPPED: Ecker Hill Middle School students clean up campus for Earth Day

PARK CITY, Utah — Students at Ecker Hill Middle School celebrated Earth Day by rolling up their sleeves and pitching in for the planet.

The school hosted a campus-wide cleanup, with students collecting litter from the grounds and then sorting it into compost, recycling, and trash. Even the gloves and bags used for the project were compostable to reduce plastic waste.

The Park City School District shared the effort on social media, calling it a “small step” with a “big impact” as part of the community’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
