SANDY, Utah — More than two dozen stolen beer kegs belonging to Park City Brewing have been recovered outside a Sandy residence, Sandy Police confirmed Thursday.
According to a report from KUTV, The brewery had recently reported the theft of 10 to 15 kegs, valued at thousands of dollars. Acting on a tip, detectives located a trailer parked in a residential neighborhood on April 10 and noted it appeared suspicious. Upon further investigation, they discovered 28 kegs inside—worth an estimated $5,500.
After conducting surveillance, officers obtained a search warrant, seized the kegs, and returned them to Park City Brewing, which is now pressing charges.
A suspect has been identified, but police have not released the individual’s name. The case remains under investigation, according to KUTV.
