Vail Resorts increases Epic Pass prices by 7% for 25/26 season

PARK CITY, Utah — Vail Resorts, owner and operator of Park City Mountain, has raised Epic Pass prices for the 2025-26 season, marking a 7% increase over last year. The full adult Epic Pass now costs $1,051, up from $982, while the Epic Local Pass has risen to $783 from $731.

This is the fifth consecutive year of price increases since Vail Resorts lowered the Epic Pass price to $819 for the 2020-21 season. At Park City Mountain, peak-season, day-of lift tickets for the 2024-25 season were $328, or approximately $354 after fees.

“We are always working to raise the bar to deliver the Experience of a Lifetime for our Pass Holders season after season, from growing access to world-class resorts to lift upgrades and technology innovations like Mobile Pass, My Epic Assistant and My Epic Gear,” said Courtney Goldstein, chief marketing officer for Vail Resorts.

For the 2025-26 season, Epic Pass holders will also have expanded access to Switzerland’s Verbier 4 Vallées, one of the largest ski areas in the Alps.

Locally, Vail Resorts highlighted ongoing development at Park City Mountain’s Canyons Village, including a new 10-person gondola to replace the Sunrise lift. The upgrade is expected to improve skier circulation and access for the 2025-26 winter season.

The Epic Pass price increase comes following a labor dispute between Vail Resorts and the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association (PCPSPA). Nearly 200 union members went on strike Dec. 27, 2024, citing bad-faith bargaining and violations of the National Labor Relations Act. The strike ended on Jan. 8, 2025, after ski patrol workers ratified a new contract with unanimous support.

The agreement, reached after 10 months of negotiations and a 12-day strike, includes a $2 starting wage increase, an average wage increase of $4 per hour, and up to $7.25 per hour for the most experienced patrol members. It also features an industry-leading education package and parental leave benefit
