PARK CITY, Utah – Park City Fire District responded to a fire at Whole Foods in Kimball Junction Thursday morning after a entrance heater caught on fire.
Fire District Marshal Mike Owens said cashiers at the front of the store noticed the smoke and the store’s manager was able to extinguish the flames with a nearby fire extinguisher.
“The quick response made all the difference,” Owens said.
The store was evacuated and Owens said no injuries were reported. The fire was limited to the entrance heater.
As of 11:20 a.m. Whole Foods was open again and fire personnel were finishing up on the scene.
