SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Park City High School’s hockey team dominated the Utah State Championships on Monday night, shutting out Brighton High 8-0 at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex to claim back-to-back state titles.
Park City’s Shannon Bennet shot the above video. Via her elite skating coaching company, Elevated Power Skating, she has had opportunity to help guide the athletic careers of many if not most of the athletes on this winning team.
Senior, Cooper Ford scored two goals along with Senior, Vince Billanti, Hunter Jacques, and Hunter Hutchinson making one each.
Ford told TownLift, “It felt great to contribute, but it’s also important to note everyone on the team had a great game last night and we really came together as a team. It felt great to lift the cup with my friends and teammates.”
Miners Goal Keeper Alex Harhi had his 9th high school shutout this year with this game credited with 6 saves on the night.
