Park City’s Women’s Weekend pairs powder with wellness

PARK CITY, Utah — As ski resorts across the country work to diversify their slopes, Park City Mountain is taking a straightforward approach: a free weekend of skiing, stretching, and community building.

The resort’s Women’s Weekend, running March 7-9, combines serious slope time with an ambitious schedule of wellness activities — from sunrise uphill skiing sessions to afternoon DJ sets at the resort’s Umbrella Bar.

While the event itself comes with no price tag, participants will need their own gear and a valid lift ticket or Epic Pass to access the mountain.

The weekend’s packed schedule bridges traditional ski instruction with modern mountain culture. Participants can start their Saturday with a 7 a.m. uphill skiing session, transition to yoga, join instructor-led clinics, and end their day with live music from Rose’s Pawn Shop at Canyons Village.

Sunday features a mountain-top breakfast with female Park City leaders at Red Pine Lodge, followed by more on-snow instruction, stretch sessions, and a closing sound bath meditation at the Grand Summit.

The event, sponsored by Helly Hansen, Rockstar Energy Drink, Toyota, Nature Valley, and American Express, welcomes “any skiers and riders who identify with and support the women’s community and a love for the outdoors.”

In a sport that has historically skewed male, the weekend aims to create an inclusive environment for women to advance their winter sports skills and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
