Skis on the Run offers 50% savings amid industry-wide increases
PARK CITY, Utah — While ski rental prices surge across Utah, with some companies raising rates by nearly 50%, one Park City-based delivery service is maintaining lower market prices while expanding services.
Skis on the Run, a luxury ski rental delivery service in Park City, offers pricing at nearly half the cost of other local providers, according to co-owner Patrick Fannon.
“We’ve always prided ourselves on offering more brands, higher service levels and competitive pricing. But this year, it surprises me that our competition has chosen to raise their prices by almost 50% with no change in product offering or service levels,” Fannon said. “I am proud that we can give families and visitors better selection, better service and significant price savings on their ski trips this season.”
The company distinguishes itself from traditional ski shops by bringing equipment directly to guests’ accommodations. Their fleet — the largest in Utah — includes brand-new gear from more than 10 manufacturers including Volkl, Armada, Rossignol, Dynastar, Blizzard, Head, Atomic and Nordica. The company refreshes its inventory annually, offering both powder and all-mountain packages.
Beyond standard ski and snowboard rentals, the company provides complete outfitting services. Customers can reserve ski pants, jackets, helmets, gloves, ski socks and goggles through an online booking platform designed to streamline the rental process.

The service model focuses on maximizing visitors’ time on the mountain. Technicians prepare and adjust equipment days before guest arrival, then deliver and custom-fit gear at customers’ lodging. During their stay, guests have access to on-mountain valet service for equipment adjustments.
Additional services include a partnership with sister company Switchback Sports, offering online shopping for apparel and accessories delivered alongside rental equipment at no additional charge. The company also provides contactless pickup and digital billing.
The comprehensive service allows guests to reserve all equipment and accessories in three clicks, streamlining what traditionally requires multiple shop visits. Customers can book ski rental packages and delivery services at Skis on the Run website.
