Deer Valley expands learning terrain with new Hoodoo Express lift

PARK CITY, Utah—Deer Valley Resort is throwing a Grand Opening Party to celebrate the new Hoodoo Express chairlift and beginner terrain with free skiing, live entertainment, and snacks on Friday, March 7, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The event is for guests of all ages in the new Deer Valley East Village resort gateway.
The first 200 pre-registered participants will receive free lift access to the Hoodoo Express and ski rentals are available for $25 per package. Live music from DJ Nevermore, hot cocoa, cider, and cookies will be provided throughout the afternoon.
“This is a milestone moment for Deer Valley as we expand our learning terrain and access for beginners and families looking to enjoy our world-class slopes,” said Deer Valley President and COO Todd Bennett. “We’re looking forward to welcoming the community to be some of the first to experience Hoodoo Express and enjoy the learning area on the new Prospect ski run.”
Hoodoo Express will run for the remainder of the ski season on Saturdays and Sundays only from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Space is limited and guests must pre-register online.
