Connecticut man dies after tree collision at Solitude Mountain Resort

BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah – A 53-year-old skier died Saturday at Solitude Mountain Resort after apparently colliding with a tree.
According to Unified Police, the skier was found unresponsive around 1:15 p.m. near the bottom of Middle Slope. Ski patrol responded immediately and attempted lifesaving measures, but the man did not survive.
Authorities have identified the victim as Daniel Negrelli of Canton, Connecticut.
