POSTPONED: Park City hosts fat bike, trail running races this Saturday at Round Valley
An incoming weather system has forced race organizers to postpone the event

PARK CITY, Utah — Round Valley trail system will host a series of winter races this Saturday, featuring both trail running and fat bike competitions across varied terrain.
The Winter Trail Fest, starting at Quinn’s Trailhead in Round Valley, offers participants multiple course options. Trail runners can choose between a 7-mile long course with 630 feet of elevation gain, beginning at 8:00 a.m., or a shorter 4-mile route climbing 423 feet, starting at 7:50 a.m.
Fat bike enthusiasts have two course options: a 15-mile route starting at 8:15 a.m. or an 8-mile course beginning at 8:10 a.m.
Several popular trails will be affected during the event, including Somewhere Elks, Nowhere Elks, Big Easy, Fast Pitch, Rambler, and Hat Trick. Spectators are encouraged to gather at Quinn’s Trailhead, located at 84098 Gillmor Way, to cheer on participants and view equipment demonstrations.
Race organizers remind trail users that these routes will experience increased traffic during the morning hours. Regular trail users should consider alternative paths during the event timeframe.
