From basslines to big screens: The Cabin is Park City’s entertainment hub
PARK CITY, Utah — The Cabin Park City launches into winter 2025 with an energetic mix of live entertainment and good eatin’. The Main Street venue’s dynamic calendar features the groove-driven Waffle Haus house music series, the soul-stirring Reggae in the Rockies Winter Music Series, and the bass-heavy beats of Syndicate Summit Sessions. Adventure enthusiasts can catch inspiring films through a new partnership with the Wasatch Mountain Film Festival, while film buffs will enjoy special programming during Sundance. The Cabin’s commitment to Park City shines through supporting local ski patrol members with free meals throughout the strike. From internationally acclaimed artists to homegrown talent, The Cabin’s winter lineup promises something for everyone, creating an inviting atmosphere for both locals and visitors alike.
Waffle Haus: House Music’s Home in Park City
The venue’s new house music series, Waffle Haus, launched in December with a packed floor, headlined by Chicago house legend Gene Farris. Inspired by Aspen’s après party scene, it pairs international headliners with top house DJs from Park City and Salt Lake City. Each event features a surprise Belgian waffle bar for a playful touch. The next installment on Thursday, Jan. 9 brings UK house heavyweight OFFAIAH, with support from Denver-based rising star Weir and local favorite Branden Estrada. Quickly becoming a must for house music fans, Waffle Haus offers free entry before 10 PM with an RSVP here.
Reggae in the Rockies
This winter, The Cabin and Dave Walters—founder of Reggae in the Rockies (RITR) have teamed up to present the Reggae in the Rockies Winter Music Series, bringing the uplifting sounds of reggae and RITR’s incredible community vibe to Main Street. Co-produced by Adam St. Simons, The Cabin’s Entertainment Director and former Media Director for Reggae Rise Up, the series showcases international and regional talent while highlighting one of the region’s best-kept secrets. The season kicks off on Friday, Jan. 17, with Cas Haley and A-Mac & The Height, followed by performances from Mike Love, Nattali Rize, and Kyle Smith. This series is more than music—it’s a celebration of community and connection. Grab free tickets to the kickoff event this month here.
Syndicate Summit Series
Inspired by the underground warehouse scene of Salt Lake City’s “Burner” community, Syndicate has been a cornerstone of the local electronic landscape for nearly seven years. Also helmed by St. Simons, the series consistently delivers bass, funk, and live electronic performances to SLC and, more recently, Park City. Each event delivers an immersive experience, combining world-class talent with Syndicate’s unique, community-focused energy. This month’s Summit Session on Saturday, Jan. 18, features the boundary-pushing Vincent Antone with special guest TomCat Trumpet, whose monthly residency at The Cabin has already won over local crowds. The last time Vincent Antone played Park City, the show nearly sold out—so if you plan to attend, don’t wait. Get your tickets here.
Peak Perspectives: An Adventure Film Series

Adding to the excitement, The Cabin will host the Access Film Music Showcase from Jan 27 to Feb. 1, celebrating its 20th year. This acclaimed series features exceptional songwriters, bands, and recording artists from around the globe, offering free, public performances that connect filmmakers and musicians. Official Ski Joring After Parties
Looking ahead to next month, The Cabin is thrilled to partner with Utah Ski Joring for the official afterparties on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15. For the uninitiated, Ski Joring is a thrilling winter rodeo sport in which skiers are pulled by horses at high speeds, navigating jumps and obstacles along the way. These afterparties will bring together competitors and fans for evenings of music, revelry, and celebration of this uniquely mountain west tradition. Mark your calendars—these are can’t-miss nights that promise to keep the Ski Joring adrenaline going well into the night! Entertainment lineups TBA soon.
