Driving In-N-Out of SLC? The burger joint’s newest location just got closer to Park City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — A new In-N-Out Burger location is set to open in South Salt Lake City, marking the chain’s 14th restaurant in Utah.

The restaurant, situated at the intersection of Main St  and 2100 South, will provide easier access for Park City residents and visitors traveling between Salt Lake City International Airport and the area’s ski resorts.

The original opened in 1948 outside of Los Angeles, an area from where Park City boasts countless transplants.

The family-owned chain has expanded methodically across the western United States, now operating in seven states: California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Colorado. Despite its growth, the company maintains its original focus on a simple menu of burgers, fries and shakes.

The South Salt Lake location continues the company’s strategic expansion in Utah, where it has steadily increased its presence since entering the market. The restaurant’s position along a major transit corridor is expected to serve both local residents and the significant number of California transplants who have settled in the Park City area.

The restaurant has not set an official opening date as of yet.
