Join the 10th annual Backcountry Bow Wow fundraiser

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association (PCPSPA) will host its 10th Annual Backcountry Bow Wow fundraiser on March 22 at The Marquis in Park City, featuring avalanche rescue dog demonstrations and live music.

The event, running from 6 to 10 p.m., benefits multiple organizations including Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBR) and The Mountain Training Center. This year’s fundraiser marks the first collaboration with Solitude Ski Patrol Union and Park City Lift Maintenance Professional Union, both members of the United Mountain Workers union.

Proceeds will support avalanche rescue operations, backcountry safety initiatives, and community services. The evening includes performances by Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, a silent auction, and raffles featuring ski equipment, outerwear, and local experiences.

Tickets are priced at $35 or $45 to include a souvenir pint glass, with sponsorship opportunities available at various levels from Green to Double Black Diamond.

For those wanting to donate goods or services for the silent auction, they can reach out to Backcountry Bow Wow organizers.

Event organizers encourage attendees to use public transit to reach Old Town Park City, with additional parking available at the China Bridge Structure, Sandridge Parking Lot, and Gateway Center Parking Lot.
