2025 Town Series kicks off in Park City with races for all skill levels
The series is a chance to compete in alpine racing and skimo at the Utah Olympic Park
PARK CITY, Utah – Park City’s 2025 Town Series is back, offering a fun and competitive platform for alpine skiers and ski mountaineering (skimo) enthusiasts to showcase their skills. The five-race series, hosted at the Utah Olympic Park, welcomes individual racers and teams from Park City and surrounding communities.
Participants can register for single races or save $25 by signing up for the full series. Additionally, alpine racers can take advantage of training sessions held the Monday before each race day, providing an opportunity to prepare for competition.

- Schedule:
- Registration opens: 3:30 p.m.
- Alpine inspection: 4:30 p.m.
- Skimo inspection: 5:30 p.m.
- Alpine race starts: 5:00 p.m.
- Skimo race starts: 6:30 p.m.
Alpine races will follow a dual modified Giant Slalom (GS) format, with gates set 18-20 meters apart. Skimo events will feature timed lap races, including a unique 30-minute challenge on Jan. 24, where racers complete as many laps as possible.
Who Can Participate
Alpine racers should have at least intermediate skiing abilities, while skimo races are beginner-friendly for those familiar with their gear.

Spectator-Friendly Event
Spectators are encouraged to attend for free and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Adults (21+) can purchase drinks in the beer garden to cheer on the racers.
