TownLift 2024 Local Holiday Shopping Spree winners announced!

PARK CITY, Utah — TownLift is excited to announce the winners of the 2024 Local Holiday Shopping Spree presented by the Park City Chamber of Commerce.  The contest garnered over 3,900 entries, and over $13,000 in prizes from local businesses, all in an effort to remind the community to #shoplocal this holiday season.

Three lucky winners were randomly selected from the 3,900 entries and, the winners are, drumroll please:

Lynn Gilford with the On the Town Package totaling $4,150 in prizes

The first thing she told TownLift when she got the announcement that she won was just how grateful she was for having the opportunity. “I was so shocked to win one of the holiday shopping sprees, stuff like this doesn’t happen to me!” Gilford said.

Gilford is celebrating her retirement from a local ski resort and can’t wait to spend it shopping and dining at her local digs. “We have so many wonderful local businesses in Park City and I love to support them,” she said. “This is very exciting since I’m going to be able to try some new businesses that I haven’t been into before, how fun!”

Pierce couldn’t wait to take advantage of all the amazing experiences and get ready for ski season. Being a marketing manager for a local sporting goods store, she understands the importance of shopping local, and giving back to businesses during the holiday season is a win-win.

“Winning this giveaway means a lot to me. I think it’s so important to support local companies. Local Companies and brands are what keeps these magical places like Park City thriving!” she said.

Erin Morris with the Well + Fit Package totaling $5,170 in prizes

Morris is a long time local who works in the non-profit world. For her this was an early Christmas present and a “great surprise.”

“Shopping local is the best way to support our neighbors and celebrate the creativity and passion that shape our community,” Morris said. “I am excited to revisit some of my favorite spots and finally explore a few I haven’t had the chance to try. The wellness gifts couldn’t have come at a better time, and I can’t wait to put them to good use!”
