SNAPPED: Here comes Santa Claus right down Town Lift
PARK CITY, Utah – In a dazzling display of holiday spirit, Santa Claus traded his sleigh for a scenic ride down Park City’s Town Lift on Saturday evening. As Santa and his chair lift sleigh descended into Old Town, hundreds of residents and visitors gathered to witness the jolly old elf’s enchanting arrival.
Carolers sang festive tunes and twinkling lights illuminated lower Main Street. At the stroke of 6 p.m., the unmistakable sound of jingle bells echoed through the streets, drawing all eyes to the lift. There he was—Santa himself—seated in a festively adorned chairlift, waving to the crowd.
“Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!” he bellowed, his voice carrying over the excited cheers of children bundled up to see him.
As the lift reached the base, Santa stepped off with a twirl and a chuckle, greeted by an eager crowd. He took his seat in a cozy chair by a roaring fire at Town Lift Plaza, where he spent the evening listening to holiday wishes and posing for photos.
As the night drew to a close, Santa gave one last wave and promised, “I’ll see you all on Christmas Eve! Be good!” before disappearing into the snowy night.
