Park City sets November open houses for expanded preschool program

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City School District will host open houses at two elementary schools in November to showcase its preschool programs, including new offerings at Parley’s Park and Trailside Elementary Schools, for the 2025-26 academic year.

The events will be held at McPolin Elementary School on Nov. 20 and Jeremy Ranch Elementary School on Nov. 21. Both locations will offer sessions in English from 6-7 p.m. and Spanish from 7-8 p.m.

The district is expanding its preschool program to all four elementary schools. Each location will provide full-day and half-day options for 3- and 4-year-olds, subject to enrollment numbers.

The full-day option runs Monday through Thursday from 8:10 a.m. to 3:05 p.m., and Fridays from 8:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., costing $810 monthly. Half-day morning sessions are available Monday through Friday for $400 monthly. Both programs offer sliding scale options starting at $125 and $100 respectively.

Extended after-school care is available until 6 p.m. at all locations for an additional $400 per month, with sliding scale rates as low as $65 monthly for qualifying families.

“Families will have the opportunity to tour our facilities and meet our staff,” said Dan Gallery, PCSD preschool director. “We’ll also be answering questions about our new programs at Trailside and Parley’s Park.”

Registration for the 2025-26 school year opens Jan. 6, 2025, at 8 a.m.
