Summit County issues air quality alert due to Yellow Lake Fire drift smoke

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah – The Summit County health department has issued an Air Quality Advisory that started Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 12 p.m.

Smoke from the Yellow Lake Fire is present in the Kamas Valley and the Snyderville Basin. At this time, sensitive groups should consider limiting their time outdoors.

Smoke can fill an area or clear it, depending on the wind direction. To check Air quality locally and in real time, visit Airnow.gov.
