Road-Naming Auction to support early childhood education in Summit County
PARK CITY, Utah — A new road in Silver Creek Estates near the Highway 40 and Interstate 80 junction will soon have its name chosen through a community auction to benefit early childhood education in Summit County.
The auction, hosted by Columbus Pacific Development, PC Tots, and the Park City Community Foundation’s Early Childhood Alliance, is expected to provide critical funding to support affordable, high-quality childcare in the area. PC Tots and the Early Childhood Alliance will share the proceeds.
“Participating in this auction is more than just a gift. It’s an investment in our future,” said Sue Banerjee, executive director of PC Tots. “Imagine a place where every child has an equal opportunity to a quality educational foundation that will prepare them to grow, learn, and succeed. Auction participants can name a street and leave a legacy that will inspire future generations.”
The auction is open through Oct. 25, 2024. The chosen name must meet local guidelines and be approved by Columbus Pacific Development.
