Retro vibes and avalanche safety collide at this year’s 31st Annual Backcountry Benefit

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 31st Annual Backcountry Benefit is right around the corner. On Thursday, September 12 the Utah Avalanche Center is throwing a big community party with drinks, food, prizes and live music.

Organizers say this year’s theme is retro, so come dressed as your favorite decade and get ready to party.

Uinta Brewing is bringing a limited edition beer, Dented Brick Distillery will be serving cocktails, Old Town Cellars will be serving wine, Utah Food Services will be serving dinner, and Herban Empire will be providing music.

Adult tickets are $60 and include a dinner ticket, two drink tickets and entry into the opportunity drawing. All proceeds benefit the UAC.

All attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
