Yarrow Hotel to host open house on redevelopment plans

PARK CITY, Utah – The DoubleTree by Hilton Yarrow Hotel will host an open house on August 20, 5 to 7 p.m. to present its proposed redevelopment plans, which aim to transform the property into a mixed-use development. The project includes ground-floor retail, a condominium hotel, affordable housing, a rooftop restaurant, and a multi-use trail.

The redevelopment has been in the planning stages for more than two and a half years and has undergone significant design changes following input from local stakeholders and Park City planning officials. The open house will provide an opportunity for the community to review the latest design and ask questions about the project.

The proposed development envisions the Yarrow Hotel as a community hub in the Bonanza Park area, focusing on enhancing livability, walkability, and inclusivity. The design features individual buildings set amid a landscaped greenbelt with a multi-use trail, creating a pedestrian-centered experience at the intersection of Park Avenue and Kearns Boulevard.

Public spaces, including two plazas along the new trail, are planned for local events and gatherings. The project also includes a building with three floors of affordable housing with private terrace, ground-floor retail shops and restaurants.
