Summer Try Transit Week begins Aug. 26
Weeklong celebration of transit encourages residents to log their trips
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Transit is kicking off a weeklong celebration of transit. The initiative invites residents to log their transit, carpool, and biking trips for a chance to win big. On Monday, Aug. 26, visit and register on Ride On! to launch this virtual event.
On Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 2-4 p.m., the city will host a free yoga, pickleball, and giveaway event at PC MARC. Limited spaces are available for each class. Sign up here by searching for the keyword “Transit.”
On Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 4:30-5:30 p.m., the mayor and city council will be hosting Talk Transit with the Mayor and Council at the Fresh Market bus stop. The event will include refreshments, popsicles, music, and a chance to meet and chat with city officials.
On Thursday, Aug. 29, from 7-9 a.m., Transit will be hosting free breakfast, coffee, and swag at their booth at the Old Town Transit Center.
On Friday morning, Aug. 30, take transit for a chance to see a local musician playing live music on the bus. Music on the Bus will feature a local musician playing live music on the bus on Friday morning.
