SNAPPED: Scenes from the Blue Sky Bash
Annual fundraiser draws community to protect Northern Utah's natural landscapes
COALVILLE, Utah — The Summit Land Conservancy hosted its annual Blue Sky Bash earlier this month on Friday, Aug. 9, at The Arena at Blue Sky Ranch, rallying open space enthusiasts for a night dedicated to conservation. The event served as a fundraiser for the Conservancy’s For the Future Fund Campaign, which aims to accelerate the preservation of Northern Utah’s natural landscapes.
Guests enjoyed an evening filled with curated cowboy cocktails, a dinner, and a live auction featuring exclusive items. Highlights included up-close encounters with raptors from HawkWatch International and line dancing led by BronCo Entertainment. Funds raised from the evening will protect farms, ranches, trails, viewsheds, and wildlife habitats in the Wasatch Back, a crucial area for the Great Salt Lake’s watershed.
Transportation was made easy with a “party shuttle” service from Treasure Mountain Jr. High School, ensuring attendees could focus on the festivities and the cause.
