PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Ski and Snowboard’s Nordic Division is managing the Moose on the Loose summer trail running series for Park City’s young runners and those who didn’t even know they were runners.

“Kids can do hard things, and have fun doing them,” Program Director Emma Garrard said. 

There have been three events held over the summer months, with one more to go. June 8 at the RTS Trail, July 13 at Round Valley, Aug. 10 at Quinns Jct, and Sept. 14 at the UOP. 

The suggested ages are 3-5 for the Mini Moose, 6-10 for the Junior Moose, and 11-14 for the Mighty Moose. Gender, and age categories have had between ten and 35 competitors in each.
