Locals night is tonight at Kimball Arts Festival

PARK CITY, Utah – The 55th annual Kimball Arts Festival kicks off today, Aug. 2, on Park City Main Street with Local’s Night.

If you’re a Summit County resident, gain access to the festival for free beginning at 5 p.m.

Festival goers taking advantage of local’s night will need to register before arriving.

The musical lineup for Local’s night includes 10th Mountain from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and Cam G & The Tasty Soul from 7:15-9 p.m.

Main Street will be a popular place to get to, officials say so plan your travel accordingly. Here are some tips.
GETTING THERE

Use the FREE Public Transportation System* and/or ride bikes along Park City paths and trails.

Park City Transit

High Valley Transit

BIKES & EBIKES: Historic Park City is a pedestrian and bike friendly town with miles of bike paths throughout the Park City area. The Summit County bike share offers e-bike kiosks throughout town with a docking station at the Swede Alley transit station. Or, valet your bike at our complementary bike valet located on 7th Street hosted by Park City Mountain Bike Team during the festival. Space is limited.

PARKING: Save your money for art! Free parking is available at Park City High School or Park City Mountain Resort with regular shuttle access to Main Street. PLEASE NOTE: Limited parking is available at Deer Valley Resort. Festival attendees are not allowed to park at Deer Valley Resort on Friday, August 2, or after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3.

DOGS: While leashed dogs are allowed, the heat and crowd makes it a less than enjoyable experience for most pets. We will have dog bowls at both free water stations at the base of Town Lift and Miner’s Park. Park City Transit does not allow dogs on buses unless they are a registered service animal.
