Life Flight revives woman with Narcan after overdose in McDonald’s parking lot
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah – Deputies responded to an unresponsive woman in her mid 30s found in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Friday night, August 16. She was transported by Life Flight and revived with Narcan.
Due to the circumstances, deputies used a narcotics canine to search the vehicle the female had been in. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered in her purse. Deputies Monday morning said both cocaine and fentanyl were the drugs found. All evidence was collected and submitted for processing.
The case will be forwarded to the County Attorney’s office for review and potential charges.
The incident caused traffic delays on SR224 as officials responded to the scene and coordinated Life Flight, but there were also delays on I-80 due to construction which compounded the traffic delays.
