Tickets on sale for 31st Utah Avalanche Center Backcountry Benefit

This year's theme is retro, and guests are invited to come dressed in outfits from their favorite decade

SALT LAKE CITY — Tickets are on sale for the Utah Avalanche Center’s largest community party of the year, the Backcountry Benefit.

The event will take place on Sept. 12 from 6-10 p.m. at Black Diamond headquarters, located at 3300 S 2092 E in Millcreek. Guests can expect limited edition beer from Uinta Brewing, cocktails from Dented Brick Distillery, wine from Old Town Cellars, dinner from Utah Food Services and music from Herban Empire.

The UAC has recommended purchasing tickets for this event early, stating that it is likely to sell out this year. Tickets include one dinner ticket, two drink tickets and one entry into the UAC’s opportunity drawing. All attendees under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
