Grant applications for Summit County nonprofits due July 31

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Applications for Summit County’s nonprofit grant funding are due July 31 at 5 p.m.

Grant funding for 2025 is currently not guaranteed, and the amount of funding available is subject to change by the Summit County Council. Any available funding will be allocated during the county’s budgeting process in December, and grants will be distributed in 2025.

The county has established the following priority of criteria for awarding grants to nonprofits:

A. Fulfillment of core governmental functions (i.e.: police, fire, sewer, roads, public health, etc.).

B. Fulfillment of policies within the Snyderville Basin and Eastern Summit County General Plans.

C. Fulfillment of County Council goals.

D. The applicant has, or will, receive funding from the County’s Restaurant and/or RAP Tax grant programs.
