SALT LAKE CITY — Yesterday the Salt Lake City Fire Department successfully rescued a bear from a tree in a local neighborhood is Salt Lake City in collaboration with the Salt Lake City Police Department, Salt Lake City Parks Department, and the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
Coordinated efforts of multiple agencies ensured the animal’s safety and the bear was safely relocated to a more suitable habitat, away from populated areas.
“We are proud to serve and protect our community, no matter the size or species in need,” said a spokesperson for the SLCFD.
