Heber City’s Unity Week aims to foster community pride
HEBER CITY, Utah — Heber City is set to celebrate Unity Week this week, from June 3 to June 9, featuring a series of community events designed to bring residents together and enhance the local area.
June 3-9: CommUNITY Cleanup
Residents are encouraged to participate in the CommUNITY Cleanup by utilizing the provided dumpsters located throughout the city at no cost. This initiative runs all week, and those needing dumpsters emptied can call 435-654-3275.
June 6: Heber Market on Main Summer Kick-Off
The highlight of the week is the Heber Market on Main Summer Kick-Off on Thursday, June 6, from 5:00 – 9:30 p.m. at 250 S Main St. This weekly summer event will feature live music, food trucks, games, and various vendors. A new addition this year is a complimentary bike check service for those who ride their bikes to the event.
June 8: Downtown Flower Planting
Join the Community Alliance for Main Street (CAMS) and local neighbors on Saturday, June 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to beautify downtown Heber City. Volunteers will plant flowers and clean up streets and sidewalks, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the area.
June 8: Historic Tabernacle Rededication and City Circle Ribbon Cutting
Later that day, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., the community is invited to the historic tabernacle at 75 N Main St. to celebrate the completion of its bell tower refresh. This event also marks the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Heber City Compass Plaza and water feature.
