Summit County to host community noxious weeds tour

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — In an effort to help local residents and visitors identify and control invasive species, the Summit County Weeds Division is hosting a Community Noxious Weeds Tour on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The free event will take place at Richardson Flat Park and Ride at 3345 E Richardson Flat Road, Park City. Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP online here. Gloves are suggested but not required.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with Dave Bingham, the weed superintendent, Dan Pena, the weed enforcement officer, and other special guests. Participants will learn how to identify and control noxious weeds on their own properties.
