Registration open for adult league sports
PARK CITY, Utah — Between Park City Recreation and Basin Recreation, there are a plethora of adult rec league sports from which to choose in Park City. Summer registration is now open for many of them.
From 7 v 7 soccer to doubles volleyball, all skill levels are welcome as locals get in shape, stay in shape for ski season, make new friends, and reconnect with old friends.
Some sports are indoors at either facility, and some are held at the various parks and fields around Park City.
Basin Recreation’s offerings include coed cornhole June 7 to July 26.
Park City Recreation’s offerings include coed 4 v 4 volleyball at night as well as softball at night for coed and mens teams.
There’s also noon drop-in basketball on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-2 p.m. and drop-in volleyball on Mondays from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Line dancing also has drop in sessions and karate classes which are offered concurrent to youth times.
Wilderness First Aid Certification Courses are also on offer “for adventures or for employment,” according to Park City Recreation’s Facebook page.
There is a sliding fee scale policy.
The activities are a community-wide effort as evidenced by the following quote written on the Park City Recreation website and supported vice versa, “To view additional recreation offerings from community partners, visit Basin Recreation.”
Other seasons than summer have ice hockey, dodgeball, kickball, and flag football.
