Park City spices up May with Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day festivities

PARK CITY, Utah — Ready for a fiesta and some family fun? The Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) is rolling out a festive lineup for the upcoming Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day. Local spots are gearing up to serve unique menus and themed celebrations, ensuring this May is packed with memorable moments.

Refreshing Homemade Classic Margarita with Lime and Salt

Cinco de Mayo Events – Sunday, May 5

Park City will kick off the celebrations with Cinco de Mayo festivities, offering a range of vibrant experiences:

Alpine Distilling’s Park City Social Aid & Pleasure Club will welcome guests from noon to 5 p.m. with specialty cocktails and retail bottle sales.

Dos Olas will host a lively evening from 5 – 9 p.m. As one of Utah’s largest tequila bars, the venue will feature the Rumba Libre band, launch a brand new summer menu, and showcase specialty cocktails alongside the Dos Olas Mexican Lager, created in partnership with Salt Fire Brewing.

Hill’s Kitchen will offer a unique to-go Fajita Dinner for $69 serving four, with options including beef, chicken, or vegetables, and complemented by a range of sides and a house-made margarita kit available for $20 serving four.

Mother’s Day – Sunday, May 12

The celebration continues with special Mother’s Day offerings:

Alpine Distilling continues its service with specialty cocktails and retail offerings from noon to 5 p.m.

Butcher’s Chop House promises a memorable dining experience with a 3-course prix fixe menu from 4 – 9 p.m. for $65 per person, with an optional wine pairing. Guests can dine under the stars in an Alpenglobe or opt for the vibrant atmosphere of the dining room and bar.

High West Refectory in Wanship invites guests to a lavish brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring an array of breakfast classics and more for $55 per person.

KITA offers a family-friendly brunch with options like a hot buffet, a create-your-own-omelet station, and a prime rib carving station, priced at $70 per adult and $35 per child.

Montage Deer Valley is set to host a special brunch from red wine-braised leg of lamb to omelet stations at $95 per adult and $35 per child.

Riverhorse on Main will present an all-you-can-eat Mother’s Day Tapas Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a selection of bite-sized wonders for $125 for adults and $75 for children under 12.
