Friends of Summit County Search and Rescue benefit concert raises over $100,000

KAMAS, Utah — On May 4, a benefit concert featuring country singers Josh Kelley and Dustin Christensen took place at the Dejoria Center at High Star Ranch. The emcee was Golden Globe and Tony award-winning actor Scott Wolf.

“I was honored and grateful to be part of such an amazing night benefiting a truly special group of people. The Summit County Search and Rescue Team are volunteers that are true heroes. Loved getting to celebrate them and help raise much needed funds for their life saving work,” Wolf told TownLift.

Friends of Summit County Search and Rescue hosted the benefit concert to raise funds for the Search and Rescue Team, which this year raised more than $100,000, according to a Facebook post.

The concert program featured Nashville café-style music from Kelley and Christensen, who have written and performed songs for major stars such as Brothers Osborne, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Dustin Lynch.
