SNAPPED: Park City Mountain wraps up 60th winter season
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Mountain marked the close of its 60th anniversary season with a three-day celebration that ended yesterday.
Guests were treated with warm temperatures, commemorative items and complimentary food, as well as a live performance by Pixie and the Partygrass Boys at Mountain Village.
Park City Mountain first opened as Treasure Mountains on Dec. 21, 1963. The resort, which received a total of 430 inches of snowfall this season, has celebrated its 60th anniversary with events all winter long.
“Our 60th anniversary season has been a huge community celebration of the many phases and faces of Park City Mountain over the years,” said Deirdra Walsh, vice president and COO of Park City Mountain. “I am incredibly proud of and grateful to all the individuals and outstanding teams who made this season and every season possible. They enable us to gather our community together and to welcome visitors from far and wide on our slopes each day.”
