New space, new service: 30-Minute Tire offers express interior details at expanded location

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City drivers can put their winter tires to rest sooner, and faster, while also getting a mini spring clean on their cars at 30-Minute Tire in Park City. The company focuses on all things tires and has just announced its move to an expanded facility in the same Park East 2 complex, just across the driveway from their current shop. The new shop has higher capacity with four bays to provide their signature 30 minute services to more customers and now offers what most Parkites dream of during mud season; a 30-minute express interior detail.

Owners Steve and Kathy Stanton are excited about being able to offer Parkites fast, professional and friendly service in a comfortable setting. “That’s basically our business plan, in a nutshell.” joked Kathy.

“That was one of the reasons that Steve started 30-Minute Tire” Stanton said, recalling their own experience in town, “We came back from an extended vacation in May and the first appointment Steve could get was in the middle of July to change his tires. So he said, ‘I can do a better job than that!’  There was this huge need, Steve was bored being retired, and he’s always been very entrepreneurial. It was just the perfect storm for starting the business.”

Steve came out of the high-end gift industry as a packaging  manufacturer for brands like Estee Lauder and Moet et Chandon. Kathy came from the airline industry. They both believe in providing exceptional customer service. So they outfitted their waiting room to feel like a cool, comfy living room. There’s a golf simulator for anyone to practice and they offer guests complimentary favorite beverages, Nespresso coffee, various treats and Park City’s own Auntie Em’s cookies.

To keep things streamlined, the Stanton’s focus the business on all things tires: they don’t do brakes, transmission work, or servicing. But, they do: seasonal tire changes, tire storage, tires sales, rotation and balancing, plus they repair punctured tires and slow leaks. The business is relatively new in town, with their first season in February of 2023; but word-of-mouth and good reviews have helped them grow, propelling the need for an expansion.

30-Minute Tires new service; the 30 minute interior detail, is a fraction of the cost of a full detail. Stanton noted the immediate excitement from customers over this new addition saying, “People are very happy with the 30 minute interior detail. The guys are doing an amazing job. Cars leave looking and smelling clean because we polish everything, the glass is clean, the carpeting is vacuumed, the mats are pulled out and cleaned properly, all the nooks and crannies are cleaned. It’s a total refresh – a makeover. Everyone loves getting into their squeaky clean car.”
