Got wellness? Park City’s Muddy May Bingo dares you to play along, for free
Throughout May, residents can visit the participating locations to take advantage of their Muddy May deals. Each visit, residents will receive a stamp on their bingo cards with the chance to win a grand prize drawing if all the squares get filled.
PARK CITY, Utah — This May, a group of Park City businesses are taking community wellness to the next level with the second annual, and expanded, “Muddy May Wellness Bingo.”
Following last year’s success, and requests from the community to increase participation opportunities, what was once a week-long event has now blossomed into an entire month of health-focused activities. These local wellness businesses are collaborating to offer residents a variety of experiences, completely free, along with enticing incentives.
“We had so much interest last year that people could not even get into all of the classes… everything was full, so everyone kept asking, ‘Would you do it longer this year?’ So, I’m excited that we have the event running longer so that people can get around to more places. Secondly, we have even more businesses: People are coming to me saying. ‘I want to do this! How do I get involved??'” Said Stacey Millhorn, Pure Sweat + Float Studio owner.
Throughout May, residents can pick up their bingo card, and visit the participating locations to engage in their offerings. For each visit, residents will receive a stamp on their bingo cards. The businesses taking part in Muddy May include:
- Pure Sweat + Float Studio
- Stretch Lab
- Club Pilates
- Prime IV
- Orange Theory Fitness
- F45
- Pure barre Park City
- MedEsthetix
- Elements Massage
- Hotworx
- The Beau Collective
- Wellness & Aesthetics
- Biothriv
- E4life Center
- Flobility
With May’s teasing weather of half spring, half who-knows-what, Millhorn felt “Muddy May” was the perfect opportunity to get people out of the house, and into local shops.
“It’s kind of in between us being able to really do anything outside. So let’s just get people all around Park City doing healthy things,” she said.
To sweeten the weekends, food trucks will be posting up at Kimball Junction each Saturday, including Cocoa Island, which will set up across from HomeGoods for three Saturdays, and Hidden Oak Gourmet Creamery, which will be in attendance all four Saturdays.
Companies featured on the bingo cards are offering free services or products, with Biothriv and Flobility planning exciting pop-up events throughout the city, details of which will be announced on social media.
Last year Millhorn said:
“People literally were walking in and saying ‘Is this really free?’ And I said, ‘Yeah! It’s really free! Come on, get around and go check out some new stuff.’ So people were pretty blown away.”
The grand finale for participants who complete their bingo cards is a chance to win one of three grand prize baskets. Each basket will contain gifts from all the participating businesses, celebrating the spirit of health and community.
This event is not just about winning prizes but also about giving residents of Park City a chance to explore new wellness modalities and support local enterprises in a fun and engaging way. Now go get that Bingo card and play!
