Search and Rescue
The Search and Rescue team were notified of an overdue snowmobile located near Soapstone. S44 and employees of Weller Recreation were already aware and on the scene with the missing father and son. They were returned to their vehicle and were reported to be in good health.

Possession of Cocaine
After a K-9 alert on a traffic stop on highway SR-224, deputies conducted a vehicle search which revealed distributable amounts of cocaine and three separate stolen financial cards. The driver was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and intent to distribute as well as three charges of possession of stolen property.

Theft
A male and female were apprehended on North Landmark Drive. Both individuals were issued a Class B theft citation for concealing items.
DUI
A vehicle was pulled over on highway SR-224 for driving with no insurance. The driver displayed clear signs of impairments, and following field sobriety tests the individual was arrested for a DUI.

Possession of Methamphetamine
Deputies stopped a vehicle traveling on highway SR-224 for an active warrant that was attached to the vehicle. During the traffic stop the driver attempted to lie to deputies about his name to avoid arrest. After identifying the suspect, a vehicle search revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the car.

Possession of Marijuana, Psilocybin Mushrooms
Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on highway SR-224. Upon initial contact with the driver of the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana was detected. A probable cause search of the vehicle yielded users amounts of marijuana and Psilocybin Mushrooms. The driver was released on a citation.

Open Containers, Possession of Methamphetamine
A vehicle was apprehended in Silver Creek, and upon contact with the driver open containers were observed. Following a vehicle search deputies located user amounts of methamphetamine. The driver was arrested and booked in the Summit County jail.
DUI
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on I-80 headed westbound for a traffic violation. Deputies observed the odor of alcohol emanating from the driver upon contact. The driver subsequently performed the field sobriety tests unsatisfactorily and was placed under arrest for DUI.
