Ski for a cause this V-day: snag First Tracks tickets to benefit Live Like Sam

PARK CITY, Utah — Valentine’s Day enthusiasts are in for a treat this year as Park City Mountain offers an exclusive First Tracks Skiing event with tickets benefiting the Live Like Sam organization. Whether you’re planning a romantic outing or craving empty ski runs, do it for Sam.

The First Tracks Skiing event grants participants one and a half hours of private skiing at Park City Mountain before the resort opens to the general public. After a morning on the slopes, attendees can look forward to a gourmet brunch at one of PCM’s day lodges.

Tickets to this event include a full-day pass to Park City Mountain and, to sweeten the deal further, an on-site parking pass is also provided for convenience.

Park City Mountain, in partnership with Vail Resorts’ EpicPromise, engages with a total of 32 nonprofit organizations, extending support through monetary contributions, volunteer hours and in-kind donations. In the 2023 fiscal year, Park City Mountain’s contributions reached an impressive $5.7 million. Among its esteemed nonprofit partners, Live Like Sam is a recipient of the First Tracks experience during the winter season. This event is limited in capacity, with space accommodating approximately 90-120 participants.

The mission of Live Like Sam goes beyond the slopes, focusing on the enduring legacy of Sam Jackenthal. With a mission to inspire youth, regardless of their background, by instilling vital life skills such as self-awareness, courage, leadership, kindness and joy. Through comprehensive character development programs and scholarships, Live Like Sam aims to empower local youth, nurturing their commitment to serving others, much like the organization’s namesake, Sam, exemplified throughout his life.

Tickets are donation-based, with a suggested contribution of $125 per ticket. Click here to purchase.
