Multiple agencies assist snowmobiler injured at Clyde Creek

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Multiple local agencies responded to a report of an injured snowmobiler on Saturday, Feb. 3.
According to a statement from the Wasatch County SAR, members of the organization was training in the Strawberry Valley area in Heber when they were notified of a single-snowmobile accident a mile away in the Clyde Creek area at approximately 1:11 p.m.
Wasatch County SAR, Summit County SAR and Wasatch Fire responded to the scene where a 61-year-old male had been injured and required transport. The man was evacuated to the Clyde Creek trailhead where an ambulance was waiting.
The rescue took approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
