Businesses join forces to spread joy through Random Acts of Kindness

PARK CITY, Utah — From Feb. 14-20, coinciding with the internationally recognized Random Acts of Kindness Week, Kept Current launches the “Keep It Kind” campaign. This initiative aims to unite local businesses, nonprofits and residents to promote random acts of kindness throughout the town.

Caren Bell, founder of Kept Current, emphasizes the campaign’s core message, “Kindness is a powerful tool that brings people together. We’re encouraging everyone in Park City to get involved. It’s about having fun by doing good, and truly, it’s an excuse to bring more good vibes to our beloved community.”

By encouraging simple gestures of kindness, such as volunteering, assisting neighbors or buying a stranger coffee, “Keep It Kind” seeks to spread joy and goodwill. Local businesses and nonprofits are at the forefront, offering giveaway packages for participants sharing their acts of kindness on social media and tagging #KeepItKind and #KeptCurrent.

Partnerships with entities like The Pendry, Gallery MAR and Fox School of Wine, among others, showcase a wide range of contributions, from gift certificates to wine tastings, to spiritual life coaching sessions, to cooking classes, to fitness classes.

Residents and visitors can follow along on Instagram, share their stories and inspire others to join.

Kept Current offers a weekly newsletter that highlights upcoming local activities.
