New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible on Turkey Day
PARK CITY, Utah — Parkites will have a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving with sunny skies this week and a chance of snow on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service.
Monday, Nov. 20
Today is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with a high near 37 and northwest wind 7 to 9 mph. Tonight is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 20 and west-northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Tuesday, Nov. 21
Tuesday is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 44 and calm wind becoming north-northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Tuesday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 25 and south southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Wednesday, Nov. 22
Wednesday is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with a high near 47 and calm wind becoming west-southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 26.
Thursday, Nov. 23 (Thanksgiving Day)
Thursday is forecasted to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 40 and a 50% chance of snow after 11 a.m. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible. Thursday night is expected to be mostly cloudy with snow and a low around 21.
Friday, Nov. 24
Friday is forecasted to be partly sunny, with snow and a high near 31. Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy with a chance of snow and a low around 14.
Saturday, Nov. 25
Saturday is forecasted to be mostly sunny with a high chance of snow and a high near 30. Saturday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 12.
Sunday, Nov. 26
Sunday is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 32.
