SNAPPED: Summit County shares petroglyph photos for Native American Heritage Month

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — In honor of Native American Heritage Month this November, Summit County recently shared these images of petroglyphs located throughout the county.

“Petroglyphs are drawings that are carved or scratched into the rock face while pictograms are painted on the rock face,” said a post on the Summit County Facebook page. “If you find any Native art in nature, please do not damage or deface it in any way.”
