Driver injured in semi truck accident near Wanship

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The driver of a semi truck received minor injuries yesterday in an accident near Wanship.

According to a statement from the North Summit Fire Service District, the accident took place at approximately 7 p.m. on the eastbound I-80 155 on-ramp.

“The driver of the semi was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries,” said a statement from the North Summit Fire Service District. “The on-ramp is closed until the Utah Highway Patrol has completed their investigation and the semi has been moved.”
