SNAPPED: First snow of the 2023 – 2024 winter season in Utah
DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah —The first real snow of the 2023 – 2024 winter season has fallen on September, 4 2023. Webcams in the Uintas at Bald Mountain Pass, Snowbird, Alta and Solitude are all showing fresh snow this morning.
As of 7:10 a.m. it is 31 Degrees Fahrenheit at Bald Mountain Pass with an elevation of 10,715′. A solid dusting of snow is visible on the UDOT webcam.
Earlier this week TownLift shared its winter weather prediction for the 2023 – 2024 season including the Powder Buoy calling that the first snow would happen today!

Flakes were also seen falling on the Honeycomb Canyon webcam at Solitude Mountain Resort
Last year the first snow fell on September 16.
